歷史沿革 History

本校創立於1958年,是全國最早的婦嬰助產職業學校,經過一甲子經營,擴展成現今擁有4個學院16學系與學位學程、8個碩士班之科技大學。本校以「人的健康」為核心宗旨,秉持「專業、關懷、宏觀、氣質」的教育理念,以培育優質全方位的健康科技人才為目標。

Established in 1958, this University was the earliest vocational school for women, infants and midwifery in Taiwan. After the operation of 60 years, it has expanded into a university of science and technology with 4 schools, 16 faculties and 16 degree programs and 8 master classes. The University takes "human health" as its core purpose, upholds the educational philosophy of "profession", "caring", "vision" and "elegance", and aims to cultivate high-quality and comprehensive health technology talents.

1958年,創辦人暨董事長張鵬圖醫師投入所有行醫積蓄,於屏東縣東港鎮設立輔英科技大學前身「婦嬰高級助產職業學校」,為當時第一所私立護理職業學校。為培育醫療院所及衛生機關所需之醫事檢驗技術人員,在「婦嬰護理助產專科學校」更名為「輔英醫事護理專科學校」的同時,本系二專「幼兒保育科」於1995年獲教育部核准成立;1997年本校改制為技術學院;2000年增設「幼兒保育系」日間部四技學制;2002年獲教育部核准成立進修部二技學制;2002年本校更名為「輔英科技大學」;2008年本系成立進修部四技學制;2012年因應在職幼兒保育人員需要,成立「回流教育專班(二專)」及「回流教育專班(二技)」,提供進修機會。於2017年因應經濟脈絡與產業發展,與本校「文教事業管理學位學程」整併更名為「幼兒保育暨產業系」,整合並聚焦於「教保服務」與「兒童產業」,以精緻化與客製化打造未來幼兒教育與兒童產業;2019年獲教育部核准重新成立進修部二技學制;2025年獲教育部核准成立碩士班。

 

 

In 1958, Founder and Chairman Chang Peng Tu invested all his savings from practicing medicine and established Fooyin University's predecessor "Senior Vocational High School of Midwifery" in Donggang Township, Pingtung County, which was the first private nursing vocational school at that time. In order to cultivate the medical inspection technicians required by medical institutions and health institutions, while "Senior Nursing and Midwifery Vocational School" was renamed "Fooyin Junior College", the establishment of the Department's two-year junior college "Child Care Division" was approved by Ministry of Education in 1995; in 1997, the University was restructured into a technology university; in 2000, four-year technology university program as "Department of Child Care and Education" was also added; in 2001, it was approved by Ministry of Education to establish the two-year junior college program for continuing education; in 2002, the University was renamed "Fooyin University"; in 2008, the four-year technology university program of continuing education was established in the Department; in 2012, in response to the needs of in-service childcare staff, "Recurrent Education Special Class (two-year junior college)" and "Recurrent Education Special Class (two-year technology university)" were established to provide continuing education opportunities. In 2017, in response to the economic context and industrial development, the Department was merged with the University's "Culture and Education Management Degree Program" and changed the name to "Department of Child Care and Industries” for refined and customized creation of the future of early childhood education and children industry. In 2019, it was approved by Ministry of Education to re-establish the two-year technology university program for continuing education. In 2025, the master program was approved by Ministry of Education.

現況描述 Current Information

本系專任師資有教授2位、副教授4位、助理教授5位。教師除專業知識外,皆具備豐富的教學與實務經驗。2025年學生總數約300人,包含日四技學生、進二技學生、外籍學生、短期研修生等。

There are 2 professor, 4 associate professors, 4 assistant professors, and 1 lecturer in this Department. In addition to professional knowledge, all teachers have abundant teaching and practical experience. The total number of students in 2025 is about 300, including daytime four-year technology university students, two-year technology university students for continuing education, foreign students, short-term trainees and etc.

秉承學校以健康為特色,以及「卓越教學」、「創新研發」、「健康特色」之發展目標,結合學院科技發展與人文素養,發揮全人教育功能,培育兼具創意思維與人文素養專才之發展目標。

Adhering to the University's health characteristics, as well as the development goals of "excellent teaching", "innovative research and development", and "health characteristics", we combine the college's development goals of scientific and technological development and humanistic literacy, giving play to the function of whole-person education, and fostering talents with creative thinking and humanistic literacy.

核心能力 Core Competence

依「基本素養」與「核心能力」分別進行就業工作能力分析:
Analyze the ability of employment work according to the "basic literacy" and "core competence":

  1. 基本素養:具備專業道德與反思專業倫理之判斷能力;關懷他人、社會和尊重生命;具備多元思考與創新創意表達之想像力;具有人文涵養與賞析美感之品味。
  2. 核心能力:具備嬰幼兒教保服務、兒童產業之實務技能;具備設計與實施嬰幼兒教保課程之專業知識;具備溝通表達與協調之技巧;具備規劃、分工合作與解決問題之能力;具備多元學習與創造深究之能力;具備跨域整合與國際移動之能力;具備美感體驗與鑑賞分析之能力;具備職場禮儀與職涯規劃之能力

各項能力落實於課程中,以期培育畢業學生能滿足職場需求。
